Certina DS PH200 Reissue
I'm really liking the new Certina reissue. Great looking watch that would be perfect for weekend use. Bummer that they're not imported to the US, but I may try and track one down at a European dealer.
Jocke posted a really nice overview at PuristsPro, including his usual high-quality photographs.

Let us know if you find a good source.

That caseback is sweet! Overall, it looks similar to the old Omega Seamaster 300’s.

Looks nice. Was the L2L 52?

Tried ordering twice on Chrono24 this weekend and every seller said “not in stock yet”

I like it. Except for the shitty quick release spring bars.

That’s a very nice looking watch. Just swap those bars out with some of T’s.

That's a deadly looking watch for 700 Euro. Once someone gets a source, please share it as I'm quite interested in one as well.

Re: Certina DS PH200 Reissue
52 is what I've seen specified.
diameter of the case: 41 mm
diameter of the bezel: 42.8 mm
lug to lug: 52 mm
height: approx. 13.2 mm
lug width: 20 mm.

Re: Certina DS PH200 Reissue
Wow, that’s nice, but the 41mm case with 52mm L2L is tragic.

Re: Certina DS PH200 Reissue
Comparison versus the original from the website. Would have been a nice opportunity to go a bit closer to the original in the reissue, but I suppose it isn't huge.
The original from 1967 has a case diameter of 38 mm, the bezel measures 40.3 mm and lug to lug 49 mm. The re-issue has therefore grown all around between 2.5 and 3 mm. Despite the larger dimensions of the watch, it still wears well on my 17.5 cm wrist. So if you only let yourself be put off by the mass, you should at least bind it to your own wrist and judge it in real life.

I think it'll work for me. Same L2L as the LLD.Panerai7 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 5:41 amPerfect sizelogan2z wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 5:01 pm52 is what I've seen specified.

Re: Certina DS PH200 Reissue
The original would have been a perfect size for me, but luckily there are watches to fit us all. Bummer for me though, I like this one but for the LTL.Panerai7 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 5:41 amPerfect sizelogan2z wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 5:01 pm52 is what I've seen specified.

I would have preferred the original but I’ll make it work. Beauty of large wrists....I can wear anything.

I bet this will look awesome on a NATO. Perfect size for me, too.

Re: Certina DS PH200 Reissue
I think it looks great on the tropic strap and would also look amazing on a classic shark mesh. Here's a tip if you can't justify the coin for Omega mesh. First, find an elcheapo mesh bracelet on ebay for $10-15. Order the Strapcode seat belt clasp, about $45 w/ the 10% WUS2016 discount code. Remove the crappy clasp that comes on the mesh, put the seat belt clasp on and you'll have an Omega style mesh bracelet that will probably fit a full sized wrist without the need for a clasp extender.
No, it's not Tourettes.
