Compressor crowns

Post by toxicavenger » Tue Oct 23, 2018 8:03 am

I know a while back I had a hell of a time trying to find matching crowns for an old school compressor case. Well I just ran across some on ebay from a guy I buy seiko parts from sometimes. Check them out https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cross-Hatched- ... SwWrdbnYi0

I hope it helps one of you out.

That is ridiculously cool Terry ! :headbang: So many times we see vintage watches with
the wrong size crowns, and it's strange looking. ..But this will definitely help people out
for sure ! :) So neat to see sir. Thanks very much !!!

I was in a compressor phase... and it went by fast because of all of the issues trying to get them serviced. It’s a mess. A lot of the cases had crowns that are specific to brand AND case size. I think I have a few crowns stored away somewhere.

Well Terry did you ever get that Compressor repaired ? And the price not bad on those crowns. I Use to own a Wittnauer compressor sold it before the prices shot up and has doubled in price. On my vintage Glycine airman it has a cross hatch crown. Here is a interesting article on compressor watches.
