To many colors for me. But I like what they are doing.
They seem to be doing the early Heuer thing, I like it. Something different from the standard fare.

I totally agree with that. And I haven't owned any of them either.

These guys, along with Monta and Halios, are at the top of the micro pile imo.
Let's be honest, the bar is pretty low. Most micros are either poorly designed poo-poo or blatant rip-offs of popular designs. Farer seems to have taken a different approach - fairly traditional but attractive designs spiced up with unique color accents. I think several of them - including the one in the video - look very nice. I prefer to stay away from micros but these guys seem to be getting a lot right.
I don't think these comments Andrew correlate to the two brands mentioned by Ruggs.

Agree. You can probably add just a few more small companies, but not many... I've said this before though I think those copycat companies must be able to make money or they'd try harder to be original.

Steinhart being the one who did some more original stuff but seems to be heavily focused on copies of designs.

Didn't they do some divers way back in the day that were their own design?

They did briefly. I don't think they sold like the homages though. So I think they stopped making them as much.

These look great - I’m not a chrono guy but the GMT and manual wind versions really caught my eye. They cost more than I was expecting but the warranty is better too.

The British voice in the videos sounds like the voice on Headspace.

Yeah, I wasn't sure when I first opened the box, but I unwrapped it and wore it a bit, and it ain't going back. The photos (crappy iPhone) don't show it well, but the case work is amazing and flawless. And the movement is gorgeous. Hits all the right notes. As I said, I usually avoid micros, but so far I have zero regrets (and I can't see any plastic spacers).
