Love how that one feels more analog than digital Dave, and then still gives
you so many of the cool functions, and abilities of a digital watch !

Would be the perfect watch for MacGyver, or James Bond ! Think it's
really neat Dave. Thanks a lot for the news !

Love a good ana-digi execution, and this is right up there with the best. Shit, it even has a UV indicator!

The only thing I don’t like about this is the battery, although even this has some positives.

It uses a standard battery, not a rechargeable one. If you sync this with your phone, they say it’ll kill the battery quickly (I forgot the time, but maybe about a year).

On the positive side, the watch will last a year or more without needing to be recharged.

If you were through hiking a long trail or something that would take a few weeks, this would be a potentially better choice than a Garmin or something which needed a USB recharge every few days.

Love it but it’s a big 45. L2L is insane too iirc

Yes, it is a big watch, but in comparison to other “smart” watches with this number of sensors is about on par.

The Garmin Fenix is either 47 or 51mm in diameter by comparison, but shorter L2L as the Alpina is pretty long at 55mm. This would probably hang off either side of my wrist.
