Interesting Weiss colaboration

I like the watch minus the stupid artisans of freedom logo on the dial. It is way too expensive IMO, but I am happy he seems to be gaining some mainstream traction:

I like it. Put some good lume on it and make it 40-41mm and I would buy it.

While this style is not for me, I like what Cameron is doing. Agree on the silly AE logo. You can get the watch minus the DLC coating and silly logo for $200 less directly from Weiss. $2k isn't bad for a fuly American made watch with an in-house movement.

Being on Matt Farah's watch podcast is likely giving Weiss a big boost.

Weiss just introduced a DLC version without the silly logo or vintage lume.

It's cool looking, but I wonder how much traction AE is going to get with a hand winder. I suspect most people (i.e. not weirdos like us) are going to balk at a $2,000 watch they have to wind every day.

the way he has organized his business, i'm amazed he can even supply the watches he does without multi-month wait times.
Though I wonder why he doesn't offer more dial designs, I gather that would be easier to do than offering more new watch designs.

He's beaten that dial to death in every color imaginable and even in a smaller size. I like his design but not enough to purchase. Saw Americandave's during his trip home for summer and thought it was just meh in person.

Time to to a dateless version of this in his 38mm case:

Oh man, hadn't seen this one yet sir ! :o Definitely is a great looking watch with that
classic Weiss vibe being joined with some ultra cool attitude. ..All while still being classy,
and extremely refined. Love the look, and colors of the dial, and numbering with this
finish. :) ..Thanks very much for the look !

I like the man, I like the that they are made in America so much. I almost want to force myself to like the watch but I just cannot stand those dials. If he made something with strictly no numbers on the dial I would fork out the cash to support this company even though it is made in California.
