Zodiac's Grandrally

Post by AtomicTom » Tue Sep 25, 2018 11:27 am

Has anyone had time to see this new Zodiac by chance? Just checking it
out.

The Grandrally has a 41.5mm stainless brushed, and polished stainless
steel case, 100 meter water resistance, neat tachymeter scale inner bezels,
along with nice sunray dials in everything from black, and silver, to cream,
and blue with luminous hands, and markers, quartz chronograph movement,
and either leather strap, or stainless steel bracelet option.

I'd love to see good photos of the real deal rather than just renders, but I like what I see so far.

Hmm, I guess I skimmed the description too quickly. Quartz is a no-go for me.

In the realm of ‘affordables’ those are quite nice.

Sorry about the quartz thing guys. Guess that is what is keeping the price a little
more affordable with these. :)

Thought it was interesting how they are the first quartz watches from them in a
while, and go back to the Zodiac ways of ten, or more years ago. But still have the
cool, and sleek new refined feel that today's Zodiacs have now.

It's a pity they are quartz because they all look really nice Tom.

Cool watch, although havent a bunch of very similar looking watches been put out lately by several micros? I could look it up, but I’m lazy ;)

Thanks Tom!

I hear you. Seems like some folks gotta hate on them. As long as the build quality is there, I'm good.

I’m okay with quartz on an inexpensive chronograph. These look very nice, and the colors are great.

These are nice, and it being quartz is a non issue for me.

They look good, especially like the blue subdialed one :)

Quartz is not ideal, but at $495 seems like that's the way to go. I noticed that a couple are already sold out so it sounds like a success for Zodiac

Paul, you are right about these having that similar two eye chronograph theme
that a lot of other brands are doing. Can't recall them either, but I know
what you mean. Guess it's a trend that Zodiac realized.

John, looks like the range is $495-$595 depending on whether the watch comes
with a strap, or bracelet. :)

Bjorn, am with you ! ..That blue sub-dial one is terrific, and also like the black
dial, with orange outer ring model also, and actually all of the others too.

Thanks so much everyone !!! :salute: Really glad that you liked these !
