What’s wrong with these pics?
I thought this was a fair price then started looking at the pictures... first one looks like a rep sandwich dial then the others, well... I’m sure it’s just bad pictures, but wow...

Lol I emailed the guy and recommended he take better pics because nobody is going to give him multiple thousands of dollars for that watch with no box/papers based on those pics - he basically told me I didn’t know what I was talking about.
Maybe he’s right...

When there's a bag labeled "OEM" with a crystal inside it, it means the one installed on the watch is aftermarket.

Aftermarket crystal also. You would be better of passing on this one.

Looks like any other PAM to me. Could be legit, an homage, or fake, but all have the same worth of parts into them? What do I win?
Re: What’s wrong with these pics?
He's a cock holster, I'm bout to get my 380 serviced as it did not come with B&P, but I had the PAM service centre check it and pressure test it at the time I picked it up. But without the PAM service paper I'd have a real hard time selling it.deepcdvr wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 8:13 pmLol I emailed the guy and recommended he take better pics because nobody is going to give him multiple thousands of dollars for that watch with no box/papers based on those pics - he basically told me I didn’t know what I was talking about.

I've bought several watches without B/P or service papers, but it was always from reputable guys like DavidSW, Drster, Master Wu, etc...93 Turbo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 12:28 amHe's a cock holster, I'm bout to get my 380 serviced as it did not come with B&P, but I had the PAM service centre check it and pressure test it at the time I picked it up. It's a scary world out there. I just looked at a USN Captain's TT Sub that he bought for 4K - it's a rep... A really good rep, but on a close look, I saw an imperfection on one of the indices - that was my only clue. I'm more worried in getting a piece that is 100% real on the outside but has franken parts inside.

Totally agree Paul, it's getting pretty crazy with the lengths people will go to make a sly & quick $.deepcdvr wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 3:40 pmI've bought several watches without B/P or service papers, but it was always from reputable guys like DavidSW, Drster, Master Wu, etc...93 Turbo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 12:28 amHe's a cock holster, I'm bout to get my 380 serviced as it did not come with B&P, but I had the PAM service centre check it and pressure test it at the time I picked it up. Panerai are so knocked off, I’d never...ever....buy one from anyone I didn’t really know and trust. Missing provenance makes it worse.
