Le Jour's Vintage Divers

Post by AtomicTom » Thu Sep 06, 2018 10:20 am

Just checking out this new one from Le Jour guys. Did you have time to
see it by chance?

Their Vintage Diver takes you back to their Superman from back in the
1960's, and will have a 40mm stainless steel case, 300m WR, AR coated
sapphire crystal, unidirectional diver's bezel, and ETA 2824-2 automatic.
Along with black, blue, and lume dial choices with cool luminous numbers,
markers, and hands, and classy looking leather straps.

Have a few pictures right here...

I was very pleased with the chrono they relaunched with a while back.

Blue dial looks cool. Got an Oris 65 vibe but they get away with it on this one. Over the looks good. Not sure about the yellow ish dial though

Not terrible, but I could do without the whole “vintage diver” text.

Seriously not needed to write Vintage on anything

I like this Chrono but the one above isn’t doing it for me. The vintage Diver text is silly and overall not a fan of the whole look.

You guys are right on with 'Vintage Diver' on the dial. Guess they could have left
that off, but at least it is written in a neat way. :) Kind of gives a nice nod to the
past, and won't be mistaken for any original model at the same time.

Wow, yeah, love those other models too Terry, and Don !!  The chronograph
has such an awesome retro personality, and design that we don't see today, and
the blue GMT diver is timeless, and one I don't even remember seeing ! :excited:

Thanks so much !!!

P.S. definitely will be fun seeing the price. Evidently only says sold out because
it hasn't been released, or unveiled yet it looks like guys.

Not finding the GMT on LeJour’s website.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

They showed it at the Hong Kong watch fair this week. So I would email them and see when they will have it available.
