Are you guys $hit&)by me? This is a nice looking watch. Maybe I’m biased on the color scheme yellow and candy red. The only thing I would change is the blue sub dial to yellow. That would be hot. I’d buy this if I had extra money on the dining table.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

If a Speedy Pro and a Zenith rainbow had a baby.........

Funny you mention that.
This Speedy does nothing for me but I've always wanted to own the earlier Zenith Rainbow 01.0480.405/24. Great size, quirky but tasteful looks IMHO.
Such an unusual watch and a relative bargain when they come up, especially the black-on-white version. Unfortunately, the bezels seem to be made of paper mache on most I've seen, and I'm not sure if Zenith could replace.

I've owned the Zenith rainbow and it is a helluva watch. Gorgeous and accurate as hell. Bezel was better than pics made it appear.sierra11b wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 3:37 pmFunny you mention that.

What killed it for me was the size. At a shade under 40mm case size and a 19mm bracelet...it was just too dainty. When Zenith came out with larger sizes, they bastardized the design and ruined it forever.
A 42mm original Zenith rainbow with 22mm bracelet would be absolutely killer.
