Madison Avenue is a short walk from Times Square. There are several boutiques as well as Tourneau, Wempe , and Cellini on Park Ave.

Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue between 47th and 60th is watch boutique central. Diamond district is 47th street and while you’ll never buy anything there, you can see a lot of watches, both very good and strange (and overpriced). As Chris mentioned, everything is a few blocks over from Times Square.

I very highly recommend the Blancpain boutique on 5th btwn 54th & 55th. It’s an experience.

Might be worth a visit to Rolex (and the RSC upstairs) @ 666 5th Ave. They’re not generally friendly, though.

Seiko Boutique and IWC are also a block or so from Tourneau on 5th Ave., and Breitling and Bremont across the street.

thx gents, i had a bit of time so went to Bremont, IWC, Roger Dubuis, Tourneau..IWC is a beautiful boutique. Damn. People were all very nice, especially the Bremont dude. Good people.
