Guys, think Zach actually showed us a real world pic of this one at Baselworld.
But just seeing this new info on Rado's new Tradition Captain Cook MKIII today.

This new watch looks to have been inspired by the 1962 Capatin Cook. Having
specifications that include a 46.8mm titanium case, dual PVD coated crowns,
220m WR, AR coated box section sapphire crystal, an internal rotating bezel,
black dial with yellow accents from 12 to 3 o'clock, both white, and yellow Super-
Luminova coated hands, and markers, a yellow seconds, 25 jewel ETA C07.621
automatic, eye-catching case-back, cool black textile strap, and more.

A few pictures...

The case is only 46.8mm? Too small for me - I'm out!

Seriously though, 46.8mm wide is going to wear massive given this is all dial.

I really liked the first Captain Cook other than the 37mm size. Now this one is just...huge.

46x48 that's quite chunky but maybe like Tuna comfy?

Sheesh. That explains why the day-date is not interfering with the markers.

I think this looks good. I like the case shape especially, reminds me of the Glycine Airman SST. 46mm is big but with that case shape and shrouded lugs, may wear smaller. Proportions look good too which may also play down the size.
Dial and colours also look good. Although case size would initially scare some off, I think it's worth a closer look.

i wouldn't like this at any size. something about the dial just feels clunky to me. making it ginormous just makes it worse.

I dig the design but 44mm max ideally like 42.

The overall look and everything is fine...the size is not.

Too bad...if this were 43-44mm, it's different enough from other divers where I'd maybe bite.

Am totally with you guys on the size with this one. I mean it looks fine
in pictures, but on the wrist it has to be a different story, and it's odd because
it looks to take after a vintage classic. Which had to be way smaller than this
brand new take.

Yup liking the look, but the size is a little funky !

Here are those real-world shots again. I really wanted to like this one but it’s sort of an awkward sumbitch on my 6.5” wrist. Very cool colors and shapes on it though. Macy exclusive last I heard?

I think in US it's exclusively Macy's but RoW is through normal outlets

Oh neat Zach, thanks so much for the look, along with that info with Macy's ! :salute:

Honestly, is such a neat looking watch, and although it's big, the design is pretty
fantastic. ..Wonder if they might maybe add a smaller version, or even versions
in the not to distant future. :)

Looks great but jeez almost 47mm
They’ve made cool watches recently but either too small or too large. how about the usually 40-43 range that works for most of the market ?
