The Dive Watch Connection

My name pretty much says it all. Seiko’s are what I collect and look for/after. The main focus of my collection are Divers who’s lineage can be traced back to the Seiko 62MAS (also one of my grails). I’ve just started building my collection. Own a 1980 Original Suwa Dial 6309, 7002-700A (Pepsi Bezel), LE Blue Lagoon SRPB11, SKX007J, SKX009k2 and a Alpinist Sarb017. Not much into dress watches. Dig a few Chrono’s. I reside along the Alabama Gulf Coast in a restored 1925 Farmhouse with my best friend who I fooled into marrying me and two dogs. Look forward to learning, laughing (at myself) and growing here. Appreciate the opportunity. Cheers!

You married your friend and two dogs? Damn, Alabama sure has gotten liberal in recent years!

Just teasing - welcome aboard.

I’m a Seiko diver fan myself, owning everything from an SKX007J to an SLA017.

As a matter of fact, I’m timing some late evening grilling with my Shogun as I type this.

Currently enjoying a beach vacation on the Gulf Coast.

Also only watches I currently own are Seikos.

Hahaha. However, defying stereotypes, my parents “didn’t” meet at a family reunion.

Always nice to meet another Seiko fan! Crown at 3 o’clock position was always a cool departure for Seiko’s Shogun in my book. Look forward to chopping it up.

I fell in love with the Gulf Coast 6 years ago due to its beaches after spending two weeks in Orange Beach. After returning home to Washington, DC I found myself 5 months later packing my belongings and heading south for the coast.

Welcome. Another Seiko fan here, I wear an SBDX019 daily and have an 007J that I rarely wear, but having bought and sold about 10 of them, I decided to just keep this one.

I’m jealous. SBDX019 is a piece of kinetic art, some more so than others. I’m working my way there. Will be getting my first Marinemaster around Christmas. Baby steps. Look forward to chatting with you.
