FYI per my calipers bezel is exactly 39 mm and lug to lug is 47.6mm. I believe the Sub C has the same lug length although with a beefier case.
More size comparisons between an SKX175 and 37mm SKX013.

Love those chamfers. Congrats. I need to try one eventually, the regular slabby BB just doesn't work for me.

Congrats! I think you might know my thoughts on this one. It's safe to say--I will own one, and hopefully soon.

So good. Love a ton about this one.
Of the new releases, the GMT is for me just based on personal preference, but the BB58 is perfect as is.

Thanks all
Yes, it is 20mm.
Thickness is 11.9mm
L to L is 47.6mm
Bezel exactly 39mm
For comparison , a 5 digit Rolex Sub:
Lug width 20mm
Thickness 12.3mm
L to L at 48mm
Bezel is 39.5mm

Perfect proportions.
I'm going to do something pretty lame, I think...mod mine with aftermarket Merc hands. Will be a perfect big crown Sub homage.

They're out there. Just need to source the right size for the 58.

It actually wouldn’t surprise me if the 5 digit sub bezel inserts are compatible. Outer bezel diameter is just .5mm larger, but Rolex bezels have wider knurling so inserts could be the same.
I’m done modding watches though. Always feels like a good idea at the time and I always regret later.

Your Sub is perfect, I plan to get one too.
But the 58 is also very cool as it is, the gilt and the snowflake hand is awesome, and for me the size is great. Drilled lug would be a welcome addition, I agree.

The fact that the caseback is dead flat and doesn’t protrude like some watches keeps it nice and low with a NATO on.
