Re: Davosa Argonautic
Looks like 3 tone to me. I'd like it better if they'd stuck with two tones - black/bronze OR blue/bronze.
Re: Davosa Argonautic
i kinda dig the 3 tone....works for me. not sure whether the like would wear off though after a few months. just at first glance i dig it.

Davosa is an interesting company. They make a few unique pieces and then they make something like this

That looks pretty original to me... kinda of looks like it needs a nickname, nightwing, flying fox guy, something like that.Panerai7 wrote:Davosa is an interesting company. They make a few unique pieces and then they make something like this
They do at least have a good grasp on what the color blue looks like it must have taken millions to get the coloring process just so

Those little vanity plates on the side of the case seem to be all the rage these days.

Yes, and I can't think of a single instance where the watch would not look better without them.
I'm all for limited editions, but putting the numbers on the back is better than some license plate bolted to the side.

I've got this bronze. It's a lovely looking watch (admittedly not as nice as a Tudor BBBB), especially in the flesh. It looks even better on an EO MN strap.

They have been making sub homages for years. Like at least 10.

Right, I think they are made by Grovana. Who has been making watches for about 20 years.gonzomantis wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 4:31 pmThey have been making sub homages for years. Like at least 10.
