Did anyone check out this new Laco dive watch called the Atlantik yet?
The watch is evidently Laco's first diver in a little while, and will be coming
this Fall. With not too many specifications being known about it. Other than
details like a Swiss automatic movement, 300M WR, eye-catching numbers,
and markers, dive time scale, cool hands, and lollipop seconds, and sporty
blue accents.

Re: Laco's Atlantik
When I think of Laco I don't really think of dive watches, and I'm not a fan of this design. If I were going to buy a Laco dive watch, I'd go for the Fricker-cased Squad Ocean 1000.
Thanks for continuing to post the new watches you come across Tom.

I’ve nearly purchased this a few times. It’s the same case as the Kobold Large Soarway Diver.logan2z wrote:When I think of Laco I don't really think of dive watches, and I'm not a fan of this design. If I were going to buy a Laco dive watch, I'd go for the Fricker-cased Squad Ocean 1000.

I almost bought one a while back too. It's a pretty cool watch.CGSshorty wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 12:21 pmI’ve nearly purchased this a few times. Re: Laco's Atlantik
Back during my early flieger days I took a small interest in Laco because they were one of the originals. I remember the availability of their models being confusing, and at the time, would have preferred any Archimedes flieger for their aesthetics even though they weren't an original WWII label. Plus the the fact my Grandma's house was destroyed by a V2 rocket when she was out getting rations may have played a part.
Re: Laco's Atlantik
Don't mention it Andrew. By the way, that Ocean 1000 is beyond cool !
It's funny, didn't realize the dials were so similar with these at first with the
blue accents being added in. You have to love those older fricker cases like
you said though. ..They really add a whole new aggressive feel when you
think about it !

Not really digging this Atlantik. But I wouldn’t mind that Ocean 1000. I forgot about that one.
