Nice!! One day sooner, you could have bought mine!jswing wrote:The AD I ordered my BB58 from has been telling me for months I would get one of the first ones. Two days ago they told me it'd be probably October before they'd have one for me. I was so disappointed I bought a placeholder.

I came very close, but at the time I really thought I was getting a BB58 this week or next. As soon as I realized I wasn't I went back to find yours sold. I've wanted to try one of these since the lume dial came out.matt.wu wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 10:31 amNice!! Love the Pro Diver Tyler. I have only owned the blue version but for the price it is an excellent watch.

Totally agree- I've had both the black and the blue on the rubber strap in the past and flipped them but decided to pick up another one. I went with the black again because I got it on the bracelet with the ratcheting clasp which is also pretty nice for the money. It's nice to have this one in the drawer ticking away, just ready to go.

The placeholder part was meant as a joke. You're probably right about the Explorer >BB58, but I've been pretty obsessed with the BB, so I don't really know what's going to happen when I have a chance to actually get one.hoppyjr wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 11:04 amjswing wrote:The AD I ordered my BB58 from has been telling me for months I would get one of the first ones. The Explorer fills a void in your stable, right? Maybe add the BB58 if you like it enough. I’m gonna start “dancing” to pay for the JLC, you can do the same for the BB58.jswing wrote:The placeholder part was meant as a joke. Re: WRUW 02 Aug 18
Well, my "stable" consists of the Explorer, one nice Seiko and a beater Seiko, so there are lots of voids. I had gotten really used to having one nice(ish) watch and a beater, but I'm afraid I'm falling off the wagon again. Adding the BB without selling one is a path I don't think I want to go down. I'll consider the dancing option though.hoppyjr wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 11:48 amThe Explorer fills a void in your stable, right? Maybe add the BB58 if you like it enough. Just remember; use your hips. Terry gave me this advice and it works.jswing wrote:Well, my "stable" consists of the Explorer, one nice Seiko and a beater Seiko, so there are lots of voids.
