Back when Citizen made great watches.
I think they still do. The problem is if you want a diver, they don't make anything remotely close to this one. They only have lesser cheaper ones that I am aware of currently.

Let me restate that back when they used to make interesting and exciting divers in my opinion. Which for me = great divers.

Yep, they could make a hell of a market for themselves if they did. A higher end Eco-Drive could sell like crazy.

The 2231.50 seems impossible to find but I really like it and would choose it over the 2254.50

Fantastic watch. I was a Brice on those, having owned at least a half dozen. I’d give my right one for a modern version.

I am a big fan of Titanium watches, but I would suggest the Titanium Grade 5 vs standard Titanium Grade 2 which is to easy to scratch in scuba diving.
