neat little find

Post by aztecknight » Thu Jul 12, 2018 7:01 am

the other day we were going through a box of my wife's things from when she was a kid. we found some neat things, but this in my opinion was the coolest:

Image

Bradley Swiss Made! hand cranker. it's got a scratched up crystal which is plexi i think. i'll get some polywatch and fix that. the movement is running, but haven't really timed it yet, but i'll probably get it serviced anyway. the original strap was too tiny for my wrist, likely as this was a kid's watch i assume. maybe people were just smaller 30 years ago. regardless, i'm on a search for a 17mm lug width, long strap for this guy.

Cool!

I just saw Don bump his thread on having some 18mm B/C deployment straps. I'd bet an 18mm would squeeze in there pretty well. I think a bright red, blue, or yellow strap would match the fun attitude of that watch.

nice... looks like it's still in great condition for its age.
