I had two MBIIs that were total lemons. Loved that watch otherwise. Might explain their great CS.

I've not heard anything. My Supermarine has run flawlessly and is the most accurate mechanical in my collection.

Looks like the kind of watch some of the folks at the dive watch forum on Facebook drool over, right before they yell at you for suggesting it might have borrowed some design cues from another brand.

These are $399, $500 if you splurge for the “gold”version. Likely lose less on these than a Bremont.
