I have a rule that I shouldn't have to re-learn how to tell time

If you believe the doctors, nothing is wholesome; if you believe the theologians, nothing is innocent; if you believe the military, nothing is safe.

that looks like a tiny little computer graphics card on the bottom.
"interesting" is what you say about something that's... well... interesting.
this is just a sloppy mess.

All designers sitting around swanky glass meeting room table.
"Someone said something about 'Lugs', does anyone know what they mean?"
Everyone shakes head.. "what are lugs?"
"No idea.. are they important?"
"I don't think so, otherwise we would have heard of them"
"OK, ignore lugs.. what's next on the snag list?"
"Someone said that telling the time might be awkward?".....
To be continued.

Any guesses on what time it's actually displaying in that picture?

Cool looking way to tell the time, dial looks nice, but I don't like the lugless case (or anything related to the case actually).

Well that's stupid, what happens between the hours of five and eight hmmm? I am supposed to
guess what hour it is? Also needs a magnifying cyclops in each circle.
Look at the circle at the other end of the hour hand and the inner ring labelled '3 4 5 6 7 8 9'

Yes, but the hand that corresponds with that circle is currently presiding over the glory hole at the bottom of the dial in that picture, so it's useless.

The circle at the top end of the hour hand is over the '1' in the photo so the hour is '1'. The other end of the hour hand is not over any numerals so it's irrelevant at that time. Think about what happens to the positions of the circles at the end of the hour hand as the hand rotates clockwise. When the hand is horizontal both circles will be over the '3' indicating that the hour is '3'. As the hand continues to rotate the circle to the left will move over the '4', '5', '6', '7', '8', '9' while the other end of the hand is over the bottom part of the dial with no numerals. As the hand rotates further the original circle will cover the '10', '11', '12' numerals, and then start over at '1'. So all hours are covered by the rotating hour hand.

Its a novelty for sure. No different than the Hublot watch that looks like a ferrari engine.
Its a conversation piece not meant to tell time.
Too many other nice options out there for me to deal with this one and the challenges of time telling.
YMMV

I don't necessarily care for this watch, but telling time on it is actually very easy. There are only two circles over numerals at any given time(*). The bigger one is over the hour, the smaller one is over the minutes. That's it.
(*) OK, there are two circles over the minute and hour numerals when the respective hands are horizontal, but the numerals are the same so you only need to look at one of them.
