Montblanc 1858 Automatic Chronograph

Pretty nice looking watch, but I have to agree with the Hodinkee commenters that the Longines Big Eye does kick it in the crown at half the price.

A bit pricey considering the Sellita (Valjoux) movement.

It would have been be more interesting had it contained a Minerva calibre. To appeal to the 'enthusiast' collector...if Richemont were trying to attract their attention.

Not a fail, but I consider this an opportunity lost.

Agreed, but I'm not sure what that would have done to the price tag.

Not bad but overall, eaten numerals - no sale
