You think all those vintage rolexes on social media are legit? There are guys studying day and night trying to make perfect clones. You can’t compete with these people.

a Blancpain FF replica with the proper movement, engravings, IMO indistinguishable from a real one for $950, makes me want to never buy a vinatge watch again

At least they can replace serial numbers; I’d hate to have the wrong SN on my fake 1655.

Yeah but I read somewhere that these guys take pictures of real watches, but the ones you get are obvious fakes. IDK, but it’s a scary business all the same.
I was recently at get together in DC and I counted 20 submariners - I wonder how many or them were real...
