This again as I hit the road for a few days.
Monta confirmed they use three crown gaskets; two in the tube & one in the crown.

Looks great, how do you like it overall? I saw Brice's Monta last weekend - looks great in the metal.

Picked up the watch roll that Justyn sent me, so nice! Also had some breakfast and good conversation with MG...good day!

Really need to get the V2 version of the bracelet (if anyone has one?) Probably going back to rubber until then.

I don't normally post in these threads, but I wanted to publicly thank Todd for a smooth deal. The eagle has landed.

Awesome. Glad it arrived safely. Have to hand it to Doxa CS for working things out pretty painlessly. Enjoy!

Believe the hype.
Finishing is beyond any small brand and by a good margin. Lume isn’t Seiko bright but does the job. 60-click bezel has the positive engagement and zero play of the Pelagos, but feels more refined. Timekeeping is literally spot-on with zero deviation. I’m not sure how Monta did all this, but if they can manage the business side of the house they will have a bright future.
If I can figure out how, I’ll get the Gen 2 version too.
I set the watch fast to start with, but look at the performance:

Man that combo looks fantastic. How did you get that mesh to work (proprietary lugs and what not)?

Thanks much. Yeah It's pretty cool now. Had holes drilled in the lugs. Here's the thread with some more detail.:
