Thanks. Yeah, it's probably too big for me too, but the short L2L and 14mm thinness make it somewhat viable. It's just such a looker.

I have not worn mesh in over a year, thought I'd give it a try. Works surprisingly well with an interesting look in this instance, and the adjustable clasp is icing on the cake for today's warmer weather.

Switch up!

I have been thinking of moving one or more bigger/heavier watches after a couple months of routinely grabbing the smaller or lighter BP Bathy in ceramic and JLC Tribute, and have had my eye on the 40mm Blancpain Mil-Spec for some time, but the prices were/are crazy. I owned the older 40mm Trilogy FF years ago (see pic below) and loved it except for the all steel bezel, and had read enough to know the Mil-Spec was likely the same case, which would be a great counterpoint to my larger watches and versatile on isofrane, vintage rubber or nato similar to the old style No Date Subs I used to wear all the time, but which are now long gone. So, when Mark (Drster) had one available, I offered up a trade on a watch I know I could pick up again if I really miss it, and this one arrived this morning.

First thoughts remain that pricing is still high on this watch and perhaps 1 to 1.5mm more in case size would be even better, but ultimately this thing is fun and comfortable on the wrist and will be very easy to grab and go, especially as I head into a summer of 100 degree weather and then an August and fall of youth football coaching 4 to 5 days a week. The Poke ball (moisture indicator) is both a little strange and the extra something that make it fun and different from my armada of cool divers (similar to the Black Lung or Posiedon logos on Doxa LEs).

This brings me up to 4 BP FFs, which may be one too many - or not. The only other thing really on my radar is the SD43, but ideally it would come down in price a bit before I bite.
