Longines' HydroConquest USA Diver

Post by AtomicTom » Fri May 25, 2018 9:30 am

Has anyone had a chance to see the Longines HydroConquest USA Diver?

They are evidently exclusive to the USA, and are limited to just 1000
watches. With specifications that include a 41mm stainless steel, black,
or gray PVD case with 300M WR, AR coated sapphire crystals, blue, black,
or gray ceramic bezel inserts, sunray blue, black, or gray dials with bold
numbers, markers, and hands coated with Super Luminova, nice bracelets,
and NATO straps, Longines caliber L888.2, and more.

Not bad but what's with the crown guard's shape?

That USA text is awful.

There’s a lot not to like on this one. It looks like a 10 year old designed it on a first generation iPad.

Oh man, what a great eye there Art ! :)

Didn't even notice that there. Kind of has a sideways hammer, or sometype of
mountain climbing tool, or grappling hook look to it. ..Definitely is different !
Honestly always like the hour hands with these, along with mix of markings,
and number styles. But these had an extra cool patriotic feel.

Look nice, however the date in the place of the 3 is not too appealing to me. I would either remove the date altogether or maybe move it somewhere else.

I'm a patriot but get that stupid text off the dial

and they should make a big date window to go with those stupid BIG numbers
