Vertex M100B
Vertex M100B
After liking these since I first seen them I asked Ed (Hoppyjr) for a referral he give me the magic handshake ( I bet I’m not the only one to have one of Ed,s magic handshakes...) and I reached out to Don at Vertex he told me that to commemorate the companies first anniversary they have done a LE (150) DLC version of it which can be purchased by anyone you just have to register to get access to the buying area. I told him that it was for my 50th birthday and if he had 50 available I would have it. He said unfortunately 50 is being used for promotional work photography etc but it would be back tomorrow and he would check it over he assured me it had never been worn or wound so 50 is what I’ve got...Thinks it’s pretty cool that it’s the watch that will be shown in web searches of the future. I’ve already found one article by fratellowatches

The watch is the same spec as the M100 just in DLC After talking to Don and seeing how passionate the guy is about the watch and Vertex moving forward I for one hope the guy succeeds because he comes across as a really nice guy.
The watch is 40mm 20mm lug width about 10mm thick and comes on a rubber strap and 2 natos. It has an ETA 7001 hand cranker movement. A big thank you to Hoppy for making this happen cheers buddy.

I’m glad you like it. The old saying “photos don’t do it justice” is certainly true with this one, it’s a fantastic watch.
The black version looks wonderful. I’ve considered owning both, but that would be silly.
Enjoy!
Re: Vertex M100B
Congrats--- that's a good looking watch....Kudos to Ed for the assist...
Re: Vertex M100B

I am always impressed by the pics of yours, Hop. Can we still get an M100 with a reach around (i.e. an introduction)?
Re: Vertex M100B
There’s still the normal version in stock With the DLC version no magic handshake (reach around) needed... I just got the handshake for the hell of it...TSD wrote:Love it, Rob.hoppyjr wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 8:08 amCongratulations RobRob.B wrote:It’s way exceeded my expectations...I love it...

I believe I have one invite left, but I can reach out to Don if more are interested. PM me if you want the code.TSD wrote:Love it, Rob.hoppyjr wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 8:08 amCongratulations RobRob.B wrote:It’s way exceeded my expectations...I love it...

I too was concerned about pricing for a “field watch” but I loved the design and decided to go for it anyway. Once in my hands it all made sense; this is a next level field watch.
Re: Vertex M100B
I’m sure mine must be void Ed because in the end I never used it... But I concur on the watch it really is something special and until you have it in hand you don’t see this...Like you said pictures do not do it justice...hoppyjr wrote:I believe I have one invite left, but I can reach out to Don if more are interested.
