I predict the eventual Invicta clone will actually look better than this.

It sucks, but not amazingly more than approximately half of what Omega sells.

I long for the days when the Constellation was the "radical" design among Omega's offerings.

You know what's worse than that ugly watch? The name "deep black". It sounds like a dogfart porno title.

I find the "r" word objectionable. A better thread title might be, "Omega goes full Kanye."
No, it's not Tourettes.

"we have to have at least 75 customers with lots of money and no taste."

"ok, let's make 73 of them and that will leave two people standing so there's ever so slightly more demand than supply."

I recently picked up a 2531.80 Seamaster (the Pierce Brosnan Bond version). It's a good looking, simple dive watch with a solid movement. It has some terrific features that show Omega was really into getting the details right. I am struck by how spot on they got the case size and shape. The wave dial is terrific. The slightly domed crystal and metallic hands make it extremely easy to tell the time from just about any angle.

Not sure why Omega can't get back to doing stuff like that instead of all these LE's which are just the same as their stock watches with a different color scheme.

Agreed

I don’t have many watches anymore, but besides my 2254 the only omega I want is a speedy and a 2500 PO

Yep, strange direction the brand is going. The only current watch in their range I would buy is the diver chrono', but I imagine even that will eventually be "updated" with a glass back or some other bollocks.

I have a Speedy Pro and a 2500 PO and the only Omega I want is a 2254 :) That's the perfect trio of Omegas IMO.

The 36mm (or slightly less cool 39mm) rail master is worth owning as well.

Omega stopped being good.

Very happy with my older, fuddy-duddy Omegas, but wouldn't object to adding a 42mm 2500d PO.

^^^ Those are all good ones. Sometimes I think about moving my PO 2500d for a 2254.
