Torn, as I like many things about this. but the damn 9pm logo location just doesn't work. at least they put the stealth version of the two flag crosses at 12, so maybe that helps make up for it.
$795, 41mm, 11.55mm case height, 47mm l2l, 22mm strap (maybe should be 20), hand wound (Sellita SW210),

Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
It's the logo that sucks..nice elements tho
Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
Really cool, do you think Duarte could black out the logo or remove it somehow?
Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
Shit I like that. I almost want to get one and see if the 9 o’clock logo bugs me as much in real life as it does in pics

Never have I seen watches that would otherwise be very appealing, ruined by an awful logo/placement.

That's actually Christopher Ward's specialty.Bradystraps wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 8:32 amNever have I seen watches that would otherwise be very appealing, ruined by an awful logo/placement.

Yep, another otherwise excellent design ruined by that stupid logo.

Nice, but for the logo. Not wild about the big 12 and 6 either. The case is very nice.

Always hated the sweep hand and still do.

I like this one a lot. The logo is far from ideal but I like this one enough to disregard it

Love the case, case size especially the thinner case..., bezel looks nice to me... Pretty much like everything except the logo. Well that and I never end up wearing any watch without the date..

I like it, but then again, I also like the Oris 65, which this one apes quite a bit.
The biggest advantage I see on this is it is about 50% of the cost of the Oris, but the Oris dial is about 100% better looking.

Yep. Ruined by the hokey trident on the end.

That logo would work if there was a date at 3. So close to being a great watch.

Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
This is the only watch I've owned with a logo placed at 9:00.

I like it. And the logo sucks in pics, but that isn't always the case in person. It almost reminds me of a vintage Oris reissue

Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
personally, i find the location the issue more than the logotype itself.

Yes, but you’re European and also like wearing a Speedo so it’s ok.Jeep99dad wrote:Am I the only one here tempted to get one ?

Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
Hate the logo and it literally makes you feel like you stole someone's personalized watch...why not change it to CW...heck throw the C on the end and you have another CWC

Re: Christopher Ward C65 Vintage Diver
You owned an Oris 65 and this seems like a less well-thought-out version of the same design.
I totally understand the appeal, but if I were looking for a boxed crystal, narrow bezel, vintage inspired diver, Oris would get my money before CW (and Seiko got my money for the SLA017 before Oris, so there is that too).
