52.5 mm lug to lug. It looks long.

I’ll be long like the LLD. I like it but the hands really needed to be longer and thicker.

Just about the same as the LLD that is listed at 52mm.

They look pretty consistent with those of the original.

I agree. The original's hands were too short as well. This one is a little more jarring because the case is larger.

While period-correct, they are still wrong.....much like everything about the 60’s, except music.

Doesn’t suck, but as much as I’ve been infatuated with the modern vintage look, I think I’m pretty over faux aged lume. What’s wrong with making a watch like the old model but making it actually look new?

I think Longines has been one of the more interesting watch companies the last few years, especially if you like vintage-inspired watches. One could put together a pretty nice collection at a reasonable price just from the Longines Heritage collection alone.

Vintage watch collectors seem to be enamored with the color of aged tritium dials. If you like that look but prefer a modern timepiece, then vintage- colored lume is pretty much the only way to get there. I personally don't mind it at all - when done well.

I like it and might be a buyer if the L2L was say 50ish. 52 kills it for me, same as with the LLD.

Anyone know if release is imminent on this? Really dig it.

I usually hate numbers on my dial but I really, really like this one a lot. I guess they are not selling this one yet?

I spoke to my local Longines AD and they said the watch is currently sold out. I didn't think it had even started shipping yet - this AD certainly never had any. According to her Longines badly underestimated demand. I have to assume that they'll produce more soon as it's not an LE.

That diver looks pretty cool. But ya, something is just a little off with the length of the hands.

Andrew, Longines really seems to have done such a fantastic job on
these ! Love how the watch stays so close to the original, but subtly
was able to update so much too.

There really are so many neat things going on from the dial, to the
lugs, and even strap, it amazes !!!

Really appreciate the link Andrew. THX !

When done in moderation as an accent or in a lighter color rather than beating you over the head with it, I like it. Too much of it on this model IMHO.

I think it’s done well on these

They aren’t out in Canada yet so maybe a route to go to order one.
