Switch up. So I guess 2 out and 1 in is a step in the right direction, and I did pocket some money selling the BP Bathy 38 and EZM 1:1 earlier this week, and I am back to 15 watches in my 15 slot watch box, but I was not exactly planning this one. That said, this has been on my radar since 2011 and I actually owned the Polaris 7 or 8 years ago and then the US edition 5 or 6 years ago and loved it, but it was never the right time to pounce when the EU version (which I preferred all along in terms of looks) has popped up in the past. Well, I guess two sales in two days and having no JLCs in the collection for the first time in 7 or 8 years was the right time. Plus, the BP 38 rekindled my desire for something smaller and lighter than the core divers in the collection. The domed crystal and shiny surfaces wreak havoc on my already poor photography skills, but here it is! This will live on a nato or vintage rubber strap.

Seiko SARX035 at 41mm..I like this one as much as the 41mm Aqua Terra and Datejust 41 I used to own.

I've just taken delivery of a watch from 2011 as well...the TTAL. I've resisted one for all this time in the hopes that BP would re-issue the smaller 40mm FF but w/the 1315 inside. Until then, I figured I'd better get this before it's too late.

love it
Part of me sees this strap, though, and thinks “hmmm... I guess I need a white belt and white patent leather shoes.”
I kinda like it, but it also feels a little odd.
Re: WRUW April 19th
keep with it, it makes perfect sense on the watch, no white shoes or belt required...
Re: WRUW April 19th
it may just have been the contrast against the deep blue shirt. i think on a bare arm it looks better.
