New Zodiac Olympos
New Zodiac Olympos
Has everyone had a chance to see Zodiac's new Olympos already?
Looks like the new watch takes you back to the classic design with it's
cool looking 37.5mm case, and flared sides near 10, and 2 o'clock. In
addition, the watches come in five different versions that include three
regular models in polished stainless with a black dial, brushed stainless
steel with a champagne dial, yellow gold with a gold dial, a limited edition
'military dial' version with a textured black dial, and then 'mystery dial'
variation that's in the works too.
A few of the other details include 50M WR, stick markers, and baton hands
for the regular variations, and lumed Arabic numbers, and field watch-like
hands for the limited military model. On top of that, you have leather straps,
and STP 3-13 which is a variation of the ETA 2824 behind it all.

Goofy case.
Re: New Zodiac Olympos
Unusual and interesting until I read 37.5mm. What is that?

Re: New Zodiac Olympos
Yeah, don't like the case shape but there are elements of the watch I do like.
Re: New Zodiac Olympos
The case reminds me of the vintage Zenith Defy it had almost the same shape and it was a big seller back when it came out. I came close a few times buying a vintage Zenith Defy with original Zenith bracelet but never got around to it.

At least it is authentically goofy.

Re: New Zodiac Olympos
I actually like that first one Tom with the black dial. I would totally wear that, and ill bet i could pull off a 37.8mm watch with my small wrists
Re: New Zodiac Olympos
Oh cool Eric, yeah think that could totally work for you ! They say in the
article that it actually wears a little larger too because of those flared sections
at 10, and 2 also Eric, and everyone !!! So maybe could even be closer to
39mm like you wanted there Terry.
Thanks just for looking guys, and thanks so much also for that fantastic picture
of the original Steve !!!
Re: New Zodiac Olympos
There are some goofy elements, but the LE military dial could work (for me) if only it were a little bit bigger.
