New Maurice Lacroix....

Post by hoppyjr » Mon Apr 16, 2018 10:53 am

It doesn’t suck, but it would be better without the Breitling-esq bezel. MSRP $1990 on bracelet. Quick change bracelet/strap system. Has somewhat of an AP look to it. I could wear the white one.

Looks like the retarded offspring of an APRO and a Rolex oysterquartz.

You've got to wonder how this company stays afloat.

They are probably still running on the fumes of the proceeds from the Pontos Diver Red Bar LE.

Tons of these guys recycle stock for months. Jacek does it too. Watches show up, disappeare quickly, and then show up again.

This doesn't look much different than a watch I'd expect to see for $50 at Kohl's.

It's incredible how the bezel makes it look so cheap!

It would look a lot better without those polished squares on the bezel for sure.

Yes. Get rid of the raised, polished bits. Give it a plain, brushed bezel and fully brush the bracelet.

It looks very uncomfortable on the wrist. Also, do those springs for the lugs dig into your wrist?

They should just continue with the Pontos line. This one doesn’t look like a winner.

So strange how they went to such great lengths to do a high quality copy of the Royal Oak, and then decided to trash it up with the bezel.... as if that feature made it their proprietary design.

This is apparently the auto version of their best selling quartz line
