RIP R. Lee Ermey
Sad evening. Gunny passed away from pneumonia complications.
Re: RIP R. Lee Ermey
Loved him in Full Metal Jacket and his own show.

Aww, sad to hear. He made Full Metal Jacket such a legendary film. "You had best unfuck yourself, or I will unscrew your head and shit down your neck!"

I got to see him in iraq a few times, he was a funny dude. I honestly though he looked wore out way back then.
RIP bro, and thanks for the laughs

Re: RIP R. Lee Ermey
My friend who went to Marine boot camp in the 1970's said full metal jacket was the best movie of how boot camp was in the 1970's now it's watered down a little. To bad the Gunny went before his time he died of pneumonia and was only 74 years old to young in my book. Pneumonia gets a lot of older folk all most took my Mom out twice why I got the pneumonia shot last year since I am getting up in age. He will be missed.
