I like that Moser in photos, but frankly I’d be afraid to wear stuff like that. My preference is function, durability, and serviceability down the road. As pretty as that dial is, I’d much rather wear this at half the price. It’ll last forever, be easily serviced or repaired, and is timeless.

I don’t see it.
Yes, it has a nice movement, but it’s a weird combo of a dress watch and a sport watch, for 11K. The dial and markers are very reflective and their is no AR on the crystal. It comes on a rubber strap and overall looks like an ill conceived design in my opinion.
I have a feeling that if a micro had put out a watch that looked like this you guys would have been bashing it from the start.

I don't think this is any different than a Royal Oak or a Nautilus, or any other "sport luxury" watch competing in that five-figure space – most of which are oddly positioned as capable, versatile watches but at a price point that defies any practicality whatsoever.tattoo chef wrote: ↑Wed Apr 11, 2018 4:50 pmI don’t see it.

The Moser is more of a dressier watch than a RO or Nautilus, not that it matters.
I just find it ironic that the OP recently acquired the 40mm FF and this Moser is 2mm bigger than that and this isn't a diver. Given the dial, markers, and hands on the watch, I bet it will wear bigger than 42mm. In short, for best appearances...a large wrist is needed.
Price is secondary, many here own pieces in the ballpark amount already.

my interest in the watch has nothing to do with my personally acquiring it/wearing it, in fact quite the opposite. nor am i here to defend its value proposition against other brands' models in the same price range.
i was simply pointing out this used example, of a watch that i find compelling, as a data point for many here who expressed interest in the model when it was initially released. given the likely very low production numbers, it may be rare to see one offered on the used market.

I stick with my black dial Omega Aqua Terra. Looks great on any band, stainless or NATO. It’s a versatile watch and cool in quartz.jimyritz wrote:Cool watch but the Ventura small seconds for me in blue--
