Tudor
Re: Tudor
I don't pay brand ambassadors any mind. I never cared who was wearing what and never bought a watch based on who happened to like it or not.
If they pull in a new audience to watches, I guess that's a good thing. If the brands want to spend money signing up celebs and personaities, let them.

I don’t care who the brand ambassador is- the commercial is horrible and stupid.
“Get her to bang on a piano like a child until the keys break”, “brilliant idea...!”
By the way I can’t stand her. Cue hoppy saying he would bang her but not snuggle cause she’s a liberal and he’s somehow attracted to her. And cue me saying anyone that would bang Gaga and wouldn’t touch a kardashian has major visual -perception issues.

They're selling heritage inspired stuff to hip young people. Same as filson.
Re: Tudor
Do hip young people listen to Gaga nowadays? She's kind of "so 2008" Poker Face eraJP Chestnut wrote: ↑Wed Mar 28, 2018 10:11 amThey're selling heritage inspired stuff to hip young people. Same as filson.

I'm old. I have no idea.

I’m somewhat socially liberal, so cuddling is a distant possibility.BBK357 wrote:I don’t care who the brand ambassador is- the commercial is horrible and stupid.

With Kardashian you and Terry could be there at the same time and never see each other.
I agree that “brand ambassadors” are worthless, but they must work on the mind-numb Millennials.
Re: Tudor
i couldn't give two shits for a brand ambassador, either, but let's not pretend that brand ambassadors are a new thing and only millennials fall for that shit. brand ambassadors have been going strong since long before anyone on this board was born. including me.
Re: Tudor
You’re right. Millennials, stupid people, and sheep. Same thing, isn’t it?gwells wrote:i couldn't give two shits for a brand ambassador, either, but let's not pretend that brand ambassadors are a new thing and only millennials fall for that shit. brand ambassadors have been going strong since long before anyone on this board was born. including me.

Pre-diaper ass Kim was hawt no doubt but now..
Also, ^ that’s Shawn Carter aka Jay Z. Sure he identifies with millennials, if they identify with an elitist prick
Many will register, few will last

Gaga at least has talent. I believe she was a classically trained pianist until she realized she could rake it in playing pop songs.
What is funny is the reason I appreciate Tudor has absolutely nothing to do with their ambassadors at all. If anything, my appreciation for Tudor is despite their brand ambassadors.
This leaves me with the question, if I were a marketing person for Tudor looking for brand ambassadors, I think I might get more mileage out of hiring a bunch of tough old retired military divers from the mid sixties through the late '70's and say "Tudor was good enough for them. It is good enough for you."
