I must have missed the press release announcing the buyout of Zenith by Invicta. $100K.

That's a brand that I wanted to like when I started in this hobby. And every year it gets worst (same as Breitling).

Looks like they did the tudor GMT right. Adjustable hour hand - like the rolex!

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong

Future classic.
These photos are making me mentally hang price tags on my current collection as I scheme to fund this purchase. This visually looks so much better than the profile of the previous version.

It looks like a Sub profile. As it should.

It’s going to wear thin if it’s really 12mm with that domed crystal.

This one doesn't do anything for me since I have a MM300. I'm a Seiko fan and I've come to loath the 6R15. It's time they upgrade it or fix the issues. Only one of the six I've had kept good time, the other 5 were way worse than any 7s26 I've owned.

Couldn't agree more Dave. Quite possibly the worst hand set ever issued by Seiko. :puke:

So while Tudor is winning, Seiko just released another gigantic diver.
Thank god they filled that hole in the lineup!

I wanted to like it but it's huge with 20mm lugs looks like
For $6k, that big boy better be a whole lot more wearable in person than it looks.
I'm super disappointed in pictures of this. I had placed a pre-order, but unless something amazing happens, I'll be cancelling and putting my money toward something else. I sold some really great watches to come up with the $$.

Patek is trying to be all hip, young and funky. It's like asking Lincoln to make a 911 beater

Just a winner in every way.

Initial Thoughts
Meant to replicate the charm and appeal of Tudor's vintage reference 7924, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight is not only a bit smaller than a standard Black Bay, it's also quite a bit thinner, coming in at a svelte 11.9mm (vs 14.75mm on the 41mm wide models). In addition to the new proportions, the Fifty-Eight employs a gilt colorway, with a gold-tone used for the bezel, hands, and dial markings. Finally, in a further connection with the aesthetic of the original Big Crown of the late 50s, the Fifty-Eight use of a colorless brushed steel crown tube.

If it's really 39x12mm, this thing is filling a hole in the market that's absolutely wide open. Just make a blue version
Dig it but I really can’t stand that bracelet

As for the Pepsi, not sure what’s up with that bezel

to many people. It looks pink and purple to me, at least from most of the pics I've seen today. :shifty:

That’s a white dress with gold accents.

I dislike the red & blue bezel more each time I see it.

We are both in the white/gold camp.
