Just a winner in every way.

Meant to replicate the charm and appeal of Tudor's vintage reference 7924, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight is not only a bit smaller than a standard Black Bay, it's also quite a bit thinner, coming in at a svelte 11.9mm (vs 14.75mm on the 41mm wide models). In addition to the new proportions, the Fifty-Eight employs a gilt colorway, with a gold-tone used for the bezel, hands, and dial markings. Finally, in a further connection with the aesthetic of the original Big Crown of the late 50s, the Fifty-Eight use of a colorless brushed steel crown tube.

If it's really 39x12mm, this thing is filling a hole in the market that's absolutely wide open. Just make a blue version
Well, there goes my resolve not to buy anything new. I loved the old BB except for the dimensions. I'll have to get this.
Buy it and then sell it to me. I’m hearing July release.

So the BP models are a bust for me from a buying standpoint.

The FF Grande Date may interest some, but not me. And putting a day and date on the Bathyscaphe is unnecessary and likewise a pass. It's probably a good thing nothing special was announced on the FF tributes this year. Those interested in the Mil-spec are unaffected by the Grande Date version to a degree.

Hm... I like ACs. That placement is odd though.

Wow that Breguet....make an awesome type XX before someone else "finds" an old model in their catalog.
Current models have so much potential but there's always something not right with them

New B&R, I love everything about it but WTF is up with the date window. IWC finally dropped it and now B&R picked it up, great.

WTF is with these BPs? All the new "features" look like dog shit they just threw anywhere on the watch with no thought to design etc....All look like a 3rd grader said "put a date window here"...

I've actually stopped flipping. I almost never buy anything any more, but when I do I've been keeping them. Strange. July is what I just read also. If it were available now I'd buy it right now.

My first Cornell paycheck is July 15. If I can talk my wife into living with the decently nice kitchen currently installed in our new house, I'll probably buy it (plus another five-digit Rolex) as soon as I can check it out in person.

on edit - just checked and Ithaca doesn't have a Rolex OR Tudor AD. Closet Rolex is Binghampton. Closest Tudor is Syracuse :banghead:

That Breguet is horrible.
Really like the new Rolex GMT on jubilee. alot.
DSSD changes are interesting. would like to see one in person. Is this only with the blue dial or the black also? DSSD never fit me right in past. curious if this would make it a go.
GMT Black bay is great, but would be better with one snowflake hand, not 3
I had high hopes for a 2254 remix, but was very disappointed with their releases

If you're set with the watch, I'll hook you up with my AD, no sales tax either since it's out of state

I'll definitely hit you up. Amazingly, NY state sales tax isn't that bad (8%). Property taxes though... $1000 A MONTH. :crybaby:

Now I see the phallic shaped "hand" that points to the diamonds.

That's kind of cool.

I wish they'd bring back the LLD ND. But I guess the popularity amongst us watch nerds (used ones seem to sell for close to the original MSRP) doesn't translate to enough sales.

While I appreciate the upgraded movement in the new DSSD, for me, the bracelet was a solution to a problem that didn't exist....I have 0 issue with the original bracelet.

Not a fan of the new font used on the Ring Lock either - looks cartoonish, but I guess it's there as a differentiator.

I read this somewhere and agree: The DSSD is without question the fullest expression of the dive watch genre.

P.S.
I can take or leave the new coronet between Swiss and Made - anyone know if this replaces the LEC? I hope not, I love the LEC

On Edit - also love the new black dial OP39, jus' sayin'
