dude on TRF just posted his Order Receipt for his new SS GMT - ready date is August
2019
Think of it as something to look forward to.
At least he locked-in the price.

I've had a marriage that didn't last as long as it takes to get the new SS GMT

Something is strange. That's quite a deposit for a watch he won't see for so long

I can't find the even uglier version with the gold bezel.
You mean this beauty?

Notwithstanding the dial or rather the lack thereof...the case, crown, and bracelet on this, upon further study, I find to be bold and kinda appealing in a way. No idea on the size, either.

As much as I like Tudor's GMT and the new Rolex Pepsi, I'm really really wanting to find a 16710 Pepsi and just call it a day.

as shorty pointed out on my instagram post today, omega missed the boat again this year and didn't release something like this, instead opting for a ridiculous color palette again.

Love the new Pepsi...I hear the oyster bracelet won’t fit though.

39mm Black Bay with in house. $3500 ish.
I know this appears to be a near-consensus pick by DWCers, but I gotta say, I wish it had silver numerals and hash marks on the bezel. I love the 41mm BBB (thickness aside), but find the gilt theme overpowering on this version.

I personally can't wait for the "old" BLRO to tank. I'm gonna buy that one.

Really like the two GMT's from Rolex and Tudor. It will be interesting to see post their release to dealers how available these will be.
Unless Rolex trickle feed these to the dealers, hopefully getting a new GMT shouldn't to too problematic further on down the track, there always seems to be a good supply of various flavours of SS GMT's here in Sydney, and no waiting lists from what I know of. Other than we watch geeks, I don't believe the GMT has the same street appeal as the Sub's. But hey I could be wrong. J
Strength is = 2 or > than "tipping over a so- called smart car plastered in “Coexist” bumper stickers".

The countless WG BLRO are good for a laugh. It’s sickening to hear a first world problem at this level. If I had bought a WG BLRO I’d be over the moon in having a PM watch still.
Funny how all these “I like WG because it flies under the radar and I prefer the weight of gold” are bitching about the resale of PM when it’s never maintained like SS when leaving the sales floor. Now it really does fly under the radar!
Who knows if the WG BLRO bezel was harder to make back in the day but if that were the case then it certainly isn’t now. My point is the WG BLRO should have never been out before the SS and WG people sorta knew that. It never was harder to make but all the WG buyers took the bait in that it was. The only problem Rolex made was releasing the WG version hastily.
Now, if they want exclusivity today they should buy the YG ROOTBEER today as I’m sure that’ll never see SS.

If Tudor’s history is any indicator we’ll see this in multiple flavors come this time next year.

Lol. I don’t think “poor” people have $10,000 watches.

I would also guess that at the 39mm size, the gilt theme will seem less overpowering than these images suggest.

The big date is ok. The others are horrible. Apparently the first one is a New limited edition Blancpain Bathyscaphe reedition from a 1970s model
