I suspect we will see a new Sub next year.
Good. I'm tapped out for any large purchases for a while. Gives me time to save!

I was really hoping for an Omega 2254 update. The skeleton hands don’t do anything for me.

I do applaud Omega for keeping a watch with the master coaxial movement at only 13.5 mm thick.

It’s a 42mm case, so I’m hoping they didn’t do the funky 21 mm lug width.

A 2254 with that goofy wave dial would have been a gut punch.

Omega is so screwed up that an unkind comment about that seems unnecessary.

I just checked the Tudor website and the GMT model is reportedly using a Tudor manufactured movement. It offers a 70 hour power reserve and an independently adjustable hour hand.

I find this second feature interesting as it will make the GMT feature much more functional for frequent travelers.
That' a good find. The only thing Tudor could have done to top this year would have been a 40mm SS Pelagos.
Nice find indeed, and agree with the Pelagos comment #normalsizewatchesmatter

39mm model also has a new movement that's 1.5mm thinner so I'm guessting its overall thickness went down under 13 from 14.3

Someone claims to have seen 12.3mm for the 39mm. If so, I'll probably sell my too-big PO and buy one. I've been wanting a seat on the cheap modern Tudor bus for a long time.

That is a very welcome change.

One of the things that made me hesitate on the 41mm model (and buy the Seiko LE instead) was the slab side thickness. It just looked really bulky when viewed from the side - more than what it needed to be.

I'm more and more "in" for the 39mm model. I may have to have a Spring Cleaning sale to raise some funds...

I've been saying for years Rolex should follow Omega's sizing methodology. We had 42 and 45 PO then 39.5 and 43.5 PO. Tudor is doing the same with Black Bay and Rolex with Subc and DSSD. Size choices are good IMHO

So long as they don't call the approximately 40mm watches "mid-sized" or "unisex". That shits all over long-term value.
