I'm not sure if the Sub bracelet would fit. I suspect so though. If you get one and want to part your bracelet, you know where to send it.

Does anyone know if the DSSD changed at all?
I'll definitely keep you posted.

Nope DSSD is still on display and still KING Seadweller :)
Someone on one of the other forums mentioned something about the old James Cameron version becoming more collectible due to some change. I'm not sure if it was BS. I looked on the website and didn't see anything obviously different.

Also, the craptastic hidden jubilee clasp on the 36mm DJ has been replaced.

Rolex wins this year.
Wider bracelet, redesigned lugs, 3235 movement for the DSSD.
So they basically fixed everything that people complained about? Still too big for me, but awesome watch

The Pepsi doesn’t excite me like it doesn’t some. It’s ok, but I won’t buy.
same here i think the bezel colors are what kills it for me, not really red, not really blue.....almost pinkish and lavender looking in the Real world pic Pat posted....like an easter theme,,,,,lol
Hopefully it's the effect of display lights. Most bold colors look wierd in those lights

hopefully as it looks like shit.

Yeah those Nomos releases are really bad.I would have thought that after spending some time doing the Tudor thing just releasing the same watches in different color combos, they would have something interesting to bring to the table.

And as a big Omega fan... that wave dial sucks, the helium crown sucks and the rest of the watch sucks too

Oh, and redesigned Glidelock for the DSSD as well. All the changes are win.
Did they redesign it down to the inferior specs of the SubDweller, or is it still adjustable without opening the clasp?

Hmmm... the tudor is the vintage pepsi feel vs the modern rolex.

I would like the tudor if the gmt movement worked tike the rolex, where the hour hand is adjustable.

It's supposedly the same insert as the WG version. Some look good, some look pink and purple. It's been a while since I've seen a new pink one, so they're getting better at it.

This one is better. Nothing really groundbreaking from Nomos as usual, but at least they're launching new movements.

I thought I read revised lugs, with the 22mm bracelet and redesigned clasp, plus the 3235. All of that equals gradual improvements to the existing DSSD. I wouldn’t pay a premium for the original.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't just fit the SubDweller bracelet to the new DSSD. That would be obvious cost-cutting, which sucks, but probably an upgrade overall.

What's the redesign? it's the best clasp on the market for a sports watch

Appears to be have the same functionality. I can't copy and past the pic from the website at the moment, but looks exactly the same as the OG DSSD and they show it open.

Those are godaweful.

I'm loving the 39mm BB.

Tudor finally released a diver in my size, devoid of all the usual hokey shit. Too bad the bracelet is that fake riveted design. Can't win them all.

I like both the Tudor 39mm Black Bay (as Jacob mentions, without that gimicky crown spacer) and the GMT model.

I just checked the Tudor website and the GMT model is reportedly using a Tudor manufactured movement. It offers a 70 hour power reserve and an independently adjustable hour hand.

I find this second feature interesting as it will make the GMT feature much more functional for frequent travelers.

I'm impressed that Rolex didn't cheap out and go for commonality. I think they're the only brand that wouldn't have.

Nope. No changes to the Explorer or Submariner lines.

I suspect we will see a new Sub next year.

Oh well.

That' a good find. The only thing Tudor could have done to top this year would have been a 40mm SS Pelagos.
