Insane
I don’t see how they haven’t caught the person

Well, the Unibomber was active from 1978 to 1995.
I'm certain it is more difficult that people think, as it is now such a common sight to see cardboard boxes on people's doorsteps or mailboxes.
This latest FEDEX explosion might be something as FEDEX barcodes every packages and can likely track the label back to the specific PC / printer that printed it. If there is CCTV in the office where the label was printed, authorities might be able to get a photo of the person who brought the box in to the FEDEX office, and maybe even a license plate if the FEDEX office has CCTV in their parking lot.
Yeah I mean being the time it is- and cameras and people monitoring everything

Okay, they just confirmed that the latest incident was not related to the bombings. An artillery simulator went off or something.

Yep. It looks like it was the FEDEX tracking system and office / parking lot surveillance cameras that did him in.
Kudos to the Austin PD investigators for quickly jumping on this evidence, tracking this guy down, and executing the arrest attempt.
The next step will be to figure out where he was making these things. My guess it'll be the shed in Mom and Dad's back yard. They will stare doe-eyed into the camera and express how they had no idea their little angel was up to no good.
(Sorry - cynical, coffee-deprived Ryeguy post)
