Completely different watches in feel. The best way I can describe it is DSSD is like wearing Pam 243 with a rolex badge on it, thick heavy gorgeous badass, 5mm double dome sapphire reminds me of 243, a tank. SubC is minimalist, thin, light, like having a band-aid on your wrist you don't feel a watch on. No date is nice, love no dates since Panerai days. Last sub I had was y-series date, I eventually hated it with a passion from the stupid cyclops, cheap aluminum bezel, rattle box bracelet with a horrible clasp. So I sold it 12 years ago and never looked back. This...this is on another level. As in I couldn't figure out why in the world Rolex charged 4K for the old sub but I totally get it why Rolex charges 7K for this one.
Looks great congrats . I Thought you might have gone Explorer II route for size. Can’t go wrong either wayPanerai7 wrote:Driving back from my AD, he finally got a SubC ND after a 4 month wait. Excited, so light and comfortable.

Yeah DSSD is staying and a perfect strap watch. The Sub will stay on bracelet, although I will change to DSSD glidelock, I think it's a little easier to adjust for daily wrist expansion without taking the watch off
Thanks Mark. In the end I couldn't get over the cyclops, it's just a persona thing, otherwise an outstanding watch and my AD was giving me a killer price on it lower than SubC, but I just couldn't talk myself into to itroadking1102 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 10:06 amLooks great congrats . It’s a beauty of a watch, but I especially like how you signed your name...in case we do don’t remember who you are.Jeep99dad wrote:Good morning all
Been neglecting my IWC MKXVIII LPP lately so i wanted to give it some wrist time today. It’s on a Horween English Tan Dublin leather strap.
Have a great day. Brice.
