Wow that was really cool to watch. Thanks for sharing. Crazy how one of those parts can take 90 hours to perfect by hand.

I didn’t think so. I actually put my speedy on after watching the video. Bargain watch.

Their videos overall are pretty good. Liked the AP Royal Oak and Patek Nautilus history comparison.

That was really cool and opened my eyes to the email put into the high end pieces. Pretty impressive. Thank you.

Definitely tons of email in an ALS watch.

EFFORT

I really need to watch that spell checker. He's a snarky bastard who always screws with my typing.

That's a great channel. I've watched a lot of their videos
I like the one where they go from Nomos to JLC to ALS.
Makes sense why Nomos is so cheap

Really impressive, thanks for sharing!
It has reinforced my idea that anything above $5-8k is too far beyond what I need/want, but at least now I very clearly see the why behind some prices.
It kinda escaped me before.
Great way of putting it.

The dust on the dial of the JLC was comical.

I'd really enjoy a like for like comparison between PP, VC, ALS, and JLC at various levels:
Simple 3 hand
AC
PC

I'd like to see how a basic JLC stacks up to a basic PP.

The way I think about it is the $5 - $10K watch range contains high quality watches leveraging precise automated manufacturing techniques. The next level watches such at the Patek are more akin to wearable pieces of artwork.

Maybe, in honor of Scotty's demise, we can do a Seiko 5 versus the Omega.

I don't think entry level Patek is wearable artwork. I've seen some absolutely terrible QC on their lower level stuff.
