Rocking one of Carlo's mods today. Switched it over to BOR and really happy with the change.

Amazing, congratulations!RALAustin wrote:Um, still a little dazed to be wearing this one , but here it is. Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time 5164. Traded 4 really great watches (none of which I really wore a ton and all of which I can likely buy back later, but still ... not easy to let them go).
Anyway, I will do a longer "what in the ____ possessed me to do this" post in the next day or so with some comparisons (I know Wu loves those posts), but my WRUW short answer is (1) no other watch has dominated my want list for as long as this watch; (2) no other watch more perfectly fits the comfortable, dressy sports watch on rubber look I have been trying to reproduce since selling the 5167 I had a couple years ago; and (3) nothing could jump start my consolidation goals more than a 4 for 1 deal, especially since I have two other watches boxed up and ready to go out as well.
First impressions, WOW.
And here it unsized yesterday afternoon (crazy long strap).
That's bad ass. Holy shit! Nice piece. Congrats!RALAustin wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 12:07 pmUm, still a little dazed to be wearing this one , but here it is. Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time 5164.
