New Bulgari Octo l’Originale Solotempo

Anyone seen this? The less expensive and thicker version of their 2017 release. Not cheap by any means, of course. I’d like to see this in person but I think I really like it.

Same which is why I was excited to see this one. The Finissimo is obviously a similar design but thinner, 1 mm smaller. It’s also 2x the $.

All I can see is Swiss cheese when I look at that pic.

I like that as well.

Going to Vegas in March so hopefully I can check the new one out.

New Bulgari Octo l’Originale Solotempo

I don't mind the chronograph. It appeals to me in the weird way some LW models do. Seldom and unexplainable.

Chrono is nice. Agree with the LW comparison. For some reason that Ti look of the Finissimo and Solotempo really appeals.

Problem is I don’t know really anything about the brand as a watchmaker, just as a luxury group. Something about buying a watch from a company that’s a watchmaker first and foremost feels better (doesn’t mean it necessarily is of course). Research...

From what I understand BVLGARI take their watchmaking very seriously. I have owned one for over ten years without any issues. Mine has a TOP grade ETA movement inside whereas the newer watches have in-house movements. Don't know if that makes them better but for most folks that adds value.
