Is this really needed?

Post by outtatime » Fri Jan 19, 2018 11:33 am

For those who don't want to click, it's an Invicta modded to look like an Oris 65. Do we really need to homage a $900 watch?

People make "homages" to cheaper watches (think seiko)..

I have often asked myself, do I really need a $900 watch?

No. But at least it doesn’t say Invicta anymore. Probably the only plus to it.

I like how he says how durable cerakote is, but then mentions the edge wear on the bezel a few paragraphs later.

^^^Oh, but it has a sapphire crystal so surely it's better than Seiko, and proves they're overpriced.
