Piss lume is still going strong with the also ran brands.
Re: SIHH 2018
We at AP have figured out how to bake waffle dials in all sorts of colors. Instead of making that bezel with something scratch resistant like ceramic. Worse and worse every year
Re: SIHH 2018
The theme of SIHH this year so far is "More of the Same".

Need to keep playing lottery
Re: SIHH 2018
Redesigned Rieussec is hot. I liked the original, but this one is even better.

Re: SIHH 2018
I'm not feeling the sports watch omega style extended case/crown guards. The way it wraps around the crown is less elegant than on my PO. Not what you want with a VC.

Re: SIHH 2018
I get you on the crown guards. I think I was initially attracted to the dial - the 3 dimensional look. And part of me has always wanted a moon phase.
I don’t like some of their other watches I’ve seen this year.

This is going to be hard to choose, man I want them all, lol
Re: SIHH 2018
The LE is amazing but expensive. I'm partial to the date version, but that no date is going to be an amazing pickup for about $5K used.

I may have to look into this. The more of it I see, the more I like. Definitely the no-date for me.

Re: SIHH 2018
I wonder if these have screw crowns?
I’d bet the 200m models do, but the 100m no date may not.
I’m also curious about strap/lug width on both the date and no-date models.

If $ wasn’t a consideration then I’d pick #1 for sure but it is... sadly and alarm isn’t worth that much more $ to mePanerai7 wrote:This is going to be hard to choose, man I want them all, lol
So it’ll be #2 for me which I still need to figure out how to fund

Re: SIHH 2018
I lusted for the Tribute model but it was out of my league. Since I also don’t need a Chrono or alarm, either the date or no-date can work for me. The dual crown - all dial look should wear great in 41 or 42mm sizes.
Any idea when these will start showing up at dealers?
