Franck Muller's Master Diving

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Jan 05, 2018 9:05 am

Has everybody already had a chance to check out Franck Muller's Master Diving?

A few of the many details look to include a 46mm brushed stainless steel
case, 100 meter water resistance, unidirectional ceramic bezel, white, black,
red, blue, and orange dials with luminescent hands, numbers, and markings,
nice sub-dials, caliber FM.7750 automatic, and black rubber strap everyone.

Have a few pictures...

Not as good as his Master Baiting.

I love horrible articles such as that. Copied from website and no info such as price and availability. Why bother copy/pasting.

Not you Tom, but the article you linked

Thanks Tom! Pretty cool piece, IMO - really like the case.

Agree, not much info in that article

Edit: this sentence cracks me up: “Composed of a self-winding movement, the Master Diving enables the precise mastering of the decompression’s stages and of the time, both in depth and on land.”

My grad school professors would have torn that up:

- what does the self winding movement have to do with precise mastering?
- doesn’t mastering already cover being precise?
- precise mastering of the time? I hope so
- what decompression’s stages are you mastering “both in depth and on land”?

Oh and Master Diving is just a terrible name, imo.

Why are there two triangles on the bezel. Confusing much?

Burn so good it had to be posted twice.

But seriously, 46mm and only 100m? And two bezel pips? Baffling.

I like the curved case but it’s not a style I’d wear. The many m’s in the rehaute are odd and very busy.

:o  Sorry guys, had actually thought these had an overall classic feel to them.

Can see how they might be a little busy dial, and bezel wise though. ..I know a lot of
vintage world time watches had some funky markers, and markings. Guess the overall
look just caught my eye with these too here. :)

I think they’re 1/5 second marks.

I think you're correct.
Drop the diver motif and it becomes more attractive.
