I flew back this morning. The city was hit and miss last night. I was staying by the harbor and between the blizzard and the flooding most places were not open. I managed to go out for a few drinks though.

well 41mm BB and 42 Ti super light Pelagos aren't like giant on any wrist I don't think. You have a Tuna that wears larger than Pelagos I'm sure

I can wear both, but don't really like how either wears on a smaller wrist, due to the long(ish) lugs and the slab-sided mid case. I've bought the BB twice, and really want to love it, but I just don't like how it wears. If they do ever produce one in Sub dimensions (40x48, with a thinner mid case) I'll be back in line for one.

With the new ambassadors and aggressive marketing, I've completely lost interest in modern Tudor.

Where the shitty uninspired retread designs not enough to do it? It seems pretty clear that Tudor caught lightning in the bottle with the original BB, Pelagos, and THC triple. They're slowly heading back to this


and I haven't seen anything to suggest that they're capable of stopping that slide.

Rolex got mad that Tudor has been making better watches for the past 5 years so they told Tudor to dial it down, hence the newest Tudors are a joke if I see another green, pink, purple BB I'll throw up.
Black Pelagos and BB Black and Blue are still awesome.

The thing that kills me is that they make that ugly small no bezel BB but they don't make a smaller version of either the normal BB or the Pelagos!

and although i do like the B.B. in 41 it doesn’t need to be this thick and those darn spring bars need to be closer to the case.

I tried it on a few times and liked it more on the wrist than I had expected. The 45 subdial is still odd to me.
In the end i went for the cheaper and more retro Longines Big Eye which also has an odd minute counter

yeah i don't care about the odd counter as i rarely ever use the chrono. I like the look of a chrono more than the actual usefulness of it.

Then you may be ok It’s not a small Watch and it’s thick but you like large Watches. So you may love it. Initially I didn’t like the hands with the Chrono subdials, but when i tried it on, it didn’t bother me.

I literally was telling a buddy a year or so back that Tudor was one of those rare watch brands who (at that time) “could do no wrong.”

How badly does the hour hand block the sub dials? All the online pics seem to show it at 10:10, I hate big hands on chrono.

When I typed my post above, I choose to type 'cool' instead of 'gorgeous' at the last second. Then deemed it too much of a bother to edit the post. Hence, the curious reading of the sentence.

The watch is both drop dead gorgeous and cool.

What's the current asking price for these now? I'm not too current on Rolex/Tudor pricing for awhile now.
