Yeah 500$ is high.

It’s also sort of odd to start a preorder and not be able to disclose the actual Watch price imo.

should be easy to get at substantial discount.

These are not as hard as the sla017 to get at anything but list.

No way these will sell for $250 when first released. I'm betting close to twice that, just like when the other new colors came out.

Yeah, they will be hot for a few months, and then prices will drop, I bet. Cool watches, but I won't pay anywhere near full price for one. Getting my PADI NAFT for around $200 not long after they came out was a deal.

I had a spare dial from an old mod that I did. I thought I'd have some fun today so I put it in the toaster oven on Medium. In just a couple of minutes it now looks vintage. Looks similar to these new ones.

Does it still glow?

Yeah, it didn't ruin the functionality. Still glows very strong.

Very cool. I have always wanted to try this out, but I lack the balls (or know-how on how to remove the dial), but mostly the balls.

I guess Seiko didn’t have room for the hands in their toaster oven.

Did I miss the full price anywhere? Can’t find it
Unfortunately, Seiko hasn't announced US pricing yet. We're expecting them to be around $500 USD .
Damn I thought they'd be 250, which is basically what the street price will be after the dust settles. I'm done buying turtles at full price like I did the first 2, I'll just wait
45mm Auto looks great, but I'm with you Art. I'll hold off and let the dust settle. J

Looks great on the Seiko dial and I'd no problem buying this mod  but this is also why I have trust issues with vintage rolex. :banghead:
